The Great Glen
This 96km classic canoe journey offer a great challenge to cross Scotland from Fort William to Inverness. Four lochs linked by a series of canals make for a varied and interesting trip. We can supply barrels/dry bags / buoyancy aids and local knowledge to help you along the way.
We also run a one way one day trip from our Hire Hub at Banavie then you can pick up bikes at Gairlochy and continue your return by peddle, an ideal family trip with great views of the grey corries, Mamore’s and surrounding areas. This 10.5km return trip offers a safe, family friendly way to explore the Great Glen. See our Hire Hub page for information on prices.
Loch Shiel to Moidart
Proving to be one of our most popular trips this is another classic canoe journey. Start off at Glenfinnan on the fresh water Loch Sheil and take 2-3 days to finish at the beautiful sea loch of Loch Moidart taking in the great sea views and castle Tioram as a great backdrop.
An interesting extension weather & experience permitting is heading around Eilean Shona or heading up the coast to finish at Glenuig.
For this trip we can run your shuttle or pick you up at the end of your journey.
Loch Morar
On the west coast towards Mallaig this is a great wilderness experience. With its sheltered location and many islands to explore, it makes for an ideal location for family’s to get a taste of canoeing.
For all our canoe journeys you can either, hire canoes & equipment from us and go it alone, or we can make you trip a guided experience. A Pick up and drop off service is available on request.
We also cater for large groups and run several trips with Schools, Youth groups, Services and many more. Please get in touch to arrange your trip.
